What is the CAMEO reactivity tool for?
The tool predicts what hazards (such as explosions, heat generation, toxic fumes) might occur if the chosen chemicals were mixed together. The predicted hazards are provided in the compatibility chart. The tool is a part of the CAMEO Chemicals Database.
How does the CAMEO prediction tool work?
First, search the chemical datasheet of the HNS in question and add them to MyChemicals. Then use the Predict Reactivity function. You can click on any cell in the chart to get more detailed information about the predictions, including potential gas byproducts.
